take this worry
which I eagerly give to you
I know you do not see it
the way I do
I know you do not see it

And that’s quite alright.
In fact, that is as it should be
Because, oh Love divine,
when I hand you my worry
my view is no longer obscured
and I can feel your delight in my face
as my shoulders drop
and the iron gate falls from my chest
and the burning in my stomach fizzles out
Then I am filled with that eternal knowing
that in you, no harm, none at all, can come to me!
