There is another reality besides the one that mostly fills your head and troubles your mind and body. It is always present and you can only ever experience it when you are present. This reality is the reality of peace, of contentment, of bliss, of spaciousness and nothingness, of openness, of being-ness. It is limitless, fresh, eternal and all-knowing. It is who and what you truly are.

You can call it God or Love or Infinite Intelligence. No word can ever capture its nature completely. But you can experience it when you are present. It is the only way you can experience it. This is Innocence – you IN ESSENCE.
The more you experience it, the more you realize that the other ‘reality’, the reality that torments you with fear, doubt, guilt, unworthiness, anxiety, failure, shame and pain, is not one that naturally exists within you but one that you have been conditioned into.
That conditioning began at a very early age for you personally. In fact, I’d say it began even while you were in your mother’s womb. That conditioning is also a collective, human conditioning which has been going on since the beginning of time. Some would say that it gave rise to time.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life. I wonder how much of your day was or will be spent (depending on where on the planet you are) in the reality of conditioning and in the reality of Innocence – you IN ESSENCE. In other words, how much peace, joy, contentment, openness and spaciousness did or will you experience today?
By simply being present, we become the Presence. By simply noticing, we become the Awareness. By not judging, we become the Love
Would you like to spend more time in the reality of Innocence? It’s possible.
Meditation is the way and the state of being in which we experience the reality of Innocence. By simply being present, we become the Presence. By simply noticing, we become the Awareness. By not judging, we become the Love. Love is filled with everything good. In Love, we feel peace, power, joy, limitlessness. This is the state of being that we so deeply desire. We want to return to our Innocence, who we are IN ESSENCE.
When we sit to practice returning to Love, to who we are IN ESSENCE, we give our mind and body the opportunity to heal or become whole again, to be free of its conditioned habits of fear, anxiety, guilt, shame, unworthiness, doubt, confusion and so on. Even a few minutes each day is a precious opportunity for healing. The more often we do it, the more easily and quickly we fall IN ESSENCE and the more we carry that ESSENCE, that peace and joy and power and limitlessness into our activities and relationships.
Let today be the start of a year of being more and more in your Essence, allowing it to guide and imbue every aspect of your life. Your individual awakening to your Essence is critical to the collective awakening to our Essence, reducing our collective conditioning of fear and other states of suffering.
