Noticing and Allowing.
These are skills we practice in Mindfulness Meditation. We notice everything that shows up. Simply notice. Without judgment, comment, question, comparison, analysis, attachment, rejection or attempt to change.

If any of this happens, we notice that too.
We understand that this is all we are required to do.
We give ourselves full permission to simply NOTICE. Whatever shows up.
Whether it feels good or awful, comfortable or uncomfortable, we simply NOTICE and ALLOW it to express itself as thoughts, as sensations in our body.
We allow its full expression. Just letting it rise to whatever level it rises and fall to whatever level it falls, expand and shrink to whatever size, intensify and collapse in whatever form or manner.
There is really nothing else to do.
NOTICE. ALLOW.
We don’t DWELL on it because dwelling means getting into STORY and that means getting caught up in judgment, commentary, attachment, rejection, comparison and whatever else comes along with that…
Just notice and allow.
The more we do this, the more we develop the ability to be at peace with whatever is. The less disturbed we are by whatever is. The more time we spend in that ocean of softly bubbling Aliveness, of Love, of Joy, of Serenity.
When unpleasant things happen, we experience them more and more as minor perturbations on the surface of our inner being rather than tidal waves that hurl us against the cliffs of our resistance.
These cliffs dissolve when we NOTICE and ALLOW.
We are home once more.
REFLECTION
Can you see when your mind is judging? Attaching? Avoiding? Resisting? What is it like to simply notice this and not fall into the currents of judgment, attachment, avoidance, resistance?
